Under the knife take 2
I especially like the 2 screws going into my tibia(shin bone). It feels like I have a cement block hanging off my foot.
This is the next external apparatus that they installed. The rod in my heel is gone, but now there is 3 wires that go in one side of my tibia and out the other.
The stitches on this side is were they plated and screwed my fibula bac
k together.

it looks like one of those devices used to make people taller. of course i couldn't find any pictures of those devices online, but i swear i remember seeing it on 20/20 back in '89.
It actually is similair. I went to high school with a girl who was born a dwarf and she had her legs lengthened. Hers was a bit more complicated though. Shad to turn the screws a 1/4 turn each day to stretch out her skin and separate the bone. Rich's is supposed to keep them together.
cool, so i am not going crazy. thats always nice to know.
There was a graphic illustration in an episode of CSI featuring little people. It was gross.
